Camping
Our troop aims to go camping once each month, with most trips held over a weekend—either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Sunday. In July, we attend a full week of summer camp from Sunday to Saturday at a Boy Scout‑specific camp. We typically skip camping in December due to the busy holiday season. During the spring, summer, and fall, we camp outdoors in tents, while the colder months often involve cabin camping. Each camping trip provides valuable opportunities for Scouts to work on skills, rank advancement, and merit badge requirements.
