Cub Scout Aquatics Adventure

Cub Scouts can earn their adventure badge based on their den requirements by attending our Cub Scout Aquatics Adventure event on May 4 from 3pm to 5pm. Troop 834 and the JCC will be sponsoring this session and run through the requirements needed in this one time afternoon session for any Cub Scout to earn their elective aquatics adventure badge. In addition, Cubs can also take swim test for summer camp and get that out of the way.

Swim activities will be run jointly by scouts from Troop 834 and the JCC Swim staff.

Details:

• Sunday, May 4, 2025
• Location: JCC Pool, 345 Kane Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15243
• Arrive by 2:45pm so we can register and Cubs can change to start about 3:05pm
• Cubs only need to bring swimsuit and towel
• Bring $15 in cash or check if you don’t have time to pay online
• If you have a chance, review the swim requirements specific to their den here

3. Bring a pair of lighlty worn shoes to donate. Troop 834 is doing a shoe fundraiser to collect lightly used shoes, we are asking everyone to bring one or more pairs of shoes to donate to the cause. Details here.
