It typically includes:

  • Tan BSA button‑down shirt with patches and insignia
  • Official BSA pants or shorts
  • Belt, socks, and neckerchief (if the troop uses one)
  • Optional: merit badge sash, hat, or other troop‑approved uniform items

It’s worn for ceremonies, meetings, formal events, boards of review, campfires, and travel.

Boy Scout Class B Uniform (Activity Uniform)

The Class B uniform—officially the Activity Uniform—is the more casual version.
It usually includes:

This uniform is worn for campouts, service projects, outdoor activities, and situations where the Class A might get dirty or damaged.
