2021 Summer Camp information

Summer camp will be in July again this year. All scouts in the troop are encouraged to attend this week-long summer camping. This year we are heading to Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation which is about 2 hours west of Pittsburgh.

Interested in joining?

If you’re in 5th grade or 11 years old, then your eligible to join our troop.  We welcome you to visit us any Thursday night at 7pm and talk with us.  We have a special web page put together to help guide you with more information about our troop.  Take a look at our “Join Us” page here and learn what we do here and get you familiar with our troop.

Popcorn Sale underway

It’s Popcorn fundraiser time again!

Key dates:

  • 10/29 – Orders due – see below
  • 11/16- Popcorn will be delivered- Pick up on Saturday at 11am at 1746 Boreland Ave, 15243 (The Tagg’s house)
  • 11/21- Money due to troop.  Turn in all money!

Special Note: prize offerings are DIFFERENT this year.  You must sell $350 or more and you get Amazon.com gift cards only.

Website & Calendar updates

If you take a look we are trying to get the website updated.  Take a look around and see what you think.  In addition, we are looking for some more content to add to the website.  So if you have any information you would like to help with in regards to circulating information via the website, just send to Sean (sean@nangle.org) and he can update the site.

In the meantime, if your a scout and want to learn more about posting to the website, let Scoutmaster Matt know as we are always looking for more scouts to contribute.

Great weekend of Ropes & Obstacles course

This is before…We all made it back, but you don’t want to see the shape some were in!!

Great weather and even better time on the Ropes and Obstacle course at Adventure Creek in Ohio. Thanks to our guides at Adventure Creek Max and Xavier for a great day!

Even the parents joined in and had a great time!
